Anyone who says that all fashion types dress well, has obviously never attended Fashion Week. After three decades in the fashion industry, I can assure you that some of the most heinous crimes against fashion have been committed by the very people who shape our collective tastes. At fashion's Oscars, the Met Gala, some of those tastemakers pushed the envelope (which is a good thing) but still experienced a massive style fail.

These celebrity photos are from the White House Correspondents' Dinner, which used to be called "Nerd Prom." It is now known as "Hollywood on the Potomac." The annual event  brought together President Obama, other elected and government officials, Hollywood celebrities and Washington correspondents. Comedian Jimmy Kimmel performed the ritual roast.
